- Bellarine Peninsula Railway and The Blues Train Pty Ltd are fully insured.
- Bellarine Peninsula Railway is responsible for the safe running of all activities on the Blues Train other than those related to viewing of live music and consumption of alcohol.
- As with standard ticketing policies, we don't provide refunds. Refer to the Ticketek Terms of Sale.
- For private function bookings and direct group bookings, there are no refunds, exchanges or transfers, in line with Ticketek policies. All bookings directly with the Blues Train Pty Ltd must be in full in advance prior to confirmation of booking.
- The train runs in all weather conditions, including total fire ban, where a diesel engine is used to replace the steam engine. A diesel engine may also be used when the steam train is undergoing repairs or maintance.
- At the commencement of the event a safety briefing is given to all patrons.
- There are six exit doors per carriage (each carriage carries 50 people) Should an evacuation be required, staff will open all doors and assist in disembarkation. Any emergency evacuation will be carried out by Blues Train security staff and Bellarine Peninsula Railway guards.
Security guards are present at all times in each carriage along with Blues Train staff. Security guards are clearly identified by ID and fluorescent yellow vests. At all times they carry mobile phones, two-way radio equipment and a torch.
- The Blues Train provides safety ramps as a courtesy on each carriage (although this is not a prerequisite of railway operations). You will need to mind the gap when embarking and disembarking. Ask for for assistance from our security personnel if required.
- There is no smoking on the Blues Train.
- There are fire extinguishers in every carriage.
- First aid facilities and equipment is available at all times.
- If you have any food allergies, please contact the Blues Train caterers prior to the event.
- The Blues Train is for over-18s only. Alcohol is served responsibly. Any patrons that become rowdy or intoxicated will be put off the train at the first available stop and a taxi will be summoned on their behalf.
- Should you at any time during the event have concerns for your own safety or the safety of others, please contact one of our security staff immediately with your concerns. Any lost property will be loged and and handed to Bellarine Railway if not claimed after the show. Contact Bellarine Railway 03 5258 2069
- If you have any concerns about your ability to ride the blues train through physical or other disabilities, please contact us to make an enquiry, or speak to members of our security staff upon arrival.
- A copy of these terms and conditions will be available at the train.
- The Blues Train is a registered business and company name. Any use of the Blues Train name, its product or its logo must be authorised in writing by The Blues Train Proprietary Limited, including website links.
