CW Stoneking, the bona fide king of old-time blues, was born in the Northern Territory to American parents and currently lives in Melbourne.

CW has a natural stage presence and rapport with the crowd. His power comes from his authentic vocal and guitar technique on material from the 1920s and 30s, which includes his original compositions such as his hit tune ‘Dodo Blues’, ‘Handyman Blues’, and the bawdy double entendre ‘You Took My Thing and Put It In Your Place’

CW Stoneking is in the process of making his first all original album including some never-before heard ‘secret hits’.
