A fixture of the roots music scene, Shannon has been making an impact on the Australian blues and roots scene for ten years, touring with Richard Thompson, Tony Joe White, Bob Brozman, Bob Margolin, John Butler, Jeff Lang, Matt Walker, The Fabulous Thunderbirds. He has toured overseas supporting Duke Robillard-Buddy and Julie Miller and The Waifs. He has also worked with John Schumann, Andy Cowan, Kerri Simpson, Black Sorrows and Vanessa Amarossi.

His 2005 debut album 'Burn It Down' has been described as 'a must for any music lover' by Joe Yammouni and 'the finest blues/roots release for 2005' by Billy Pinnell.

Over the last ten years Shannon has built a reputation for himself as one of Australia's finest guitarists and singer/songwriters and done time as sidekick to local legend Chris Wilson (notably on the Blues Train since 2005)
