WHERE DO WE EAT
There will be a buffet meal set up on the station platform when you arrive. Most people find a place to sit and eat on the platform and some go and sit in their first allocated carriage to eat.
Everyone starting in the D carriage will be seated for their meal - 37 in the D carriage and 15 at reserved dining tables in the alcove. Those dining in the alcove join the carriage prior to departure.
Carriages A and C have dining tables. Carriage B is a passenger car. Those starting in the B carriage will eat their dinner on their lap. Unfortunately the B carriage does not have dining tables and we are currently looking into a form of lap table.
Attendants will come and collect your litter before the train journey begins.
IS THERE A KIOSK SELLING SNACKS AND SOUVENIRS
When the Blues Train runs the Bellarine Railway volunteers open the Drysdale kiosk, where you can purchase tea and coffee, ice creams, souvenirs etc.
The Blues Train arrives at Drysdale, the halfway point on the journey at 9.30 pm and departs at 10.00 pm. Please note that these snacks are not included in your Blues Train ticket price, but any profits raised from their sales go to the Bellarine Railway.
There is also a kiosk and souvenair shops at Queenscliff Station, which is not open during the Blues Train, but is open on weekends and public holidays while the railway is operating its scenic trips.
