Koto - know one, teach one, is The Blues Train's official nominated charity

MartinKoto - know one, teach oneThe Blues Train is proud to announce it's official nominated chairty: Koto - know one, teach one.

A charity close to our hearts through the involvement of the late Martin Satchell, one of the original business partners involved in The Blues Train, as well as longtime chef at Pasquinis in Point Lonsdale.

KOTO, based in Vietnam is an organisation aimed at creating a safe environment where a small group of extremely vulnerable young people can learn and grow.

The Blues Train's annual donation will go towards Koto's cooking program that assists former street kids to cook to a professional level.  This training will help these kids to complete a journey from the streets to professional kitchens.
Many mentorees who have already completed the training are now in stable employment in restaurants throughout Vietnam and all over the world, a real testament to Koto's programs.

Please consider making a donation to KOTO, a cause which provides it's mentorees with a future. You can make a donation here
