The Blues Train and our acts were all smiles taking away a bundle of awards at the MBAS Blues Music Awards
The Blues Train and our acts featured heavily at the recent Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society Victorian - Tasmanian Blues Music Awards.
Bringing home nine of the ten awards, this is a real credit to the work that The Blues Train and it's stable of artists provide to the music industry.
The winners and grinners were:
Hugo T Armstrong
Allan Stafford Award for service to the blues music industry
"For the work done as: Musical Director of the Queenscliff Festival for 8 years. Presenter on PBS106.7FM for 21 years, and operator of The Blues Train which gives many local and interstate blues musicians many gigs, he was the obvious choice for the award for 2010. The selection is done by the MBAS committee." Gary Jones President MBAS
