Over 61,500 people experience The Blues Train

One of the regions most popular attractions has hit 61,500 people, with 10,000 alone travelling on board this season...

We're not ones to blow our own trumpet here at The Blues Train, HOWEVER...

In looking back over the past 18 years of running The Blues Train, we've been going through the archives and have discovered some facts that we can't wait to share!

Since 1994, approximately 61,500 people have experienced The Blues Train.

That's 10,000 more than would fill Etihad Stadium in Melbourne for an Australian Rules Football match

Whilst The Blues Train only travels along 16km of train line between Queenscliff and Drysdale, in the past 18 years we have travelled almost 10,000km

That's the equivelent of travelling return from Australia to Shanghai, China.

By the end of the 2011-12 season, The Blues Train will have run 300 shows!

Our artists will have performed just under 5,000 sets, whilst approximately 10,000 people will have experienced The Blues Train show this season alone.

This season alone, approximately 6,500 people will have stayed at least one night in local accommodation.

There are now 15 Blues Train Ticket and Accommodation package providers ranging from budget to boutique accommodation.

The Blues Train is the only live music product in Queenscliff that operates most weeks of the year. 

It is certainly the biggest regular live music attraction in the town, and is one of the largest attractions in the region.
