Train Trax volume 3It’s official; Train Trax Volume 3 is the most played CD around the country. The Australian Blues & Roots Airplay Chart lists the top 20 CDs played by Independent Blues & Roots radio presenters on community radio stations Australia wide. Debuting at number 1 for the month of May 2012, Train Trax Vol 3 has hit a chord with those who love playing the blues on their programs to those who love listening.

The CD was launched Friday 27th April 2012 and the immediate response to Train Trax Vol 3 has been overwhelming. Hugo T Armstrong, Blues Train proprietor, himself an ex-community radio DJ for over 21 years, compiled the CD as a ‘snap-shot’ of where he hears the blues scene to be at this stage of his long-standing career in the music industry. All artists on the CD have played The Blues Train over the last three years. Primarily an Australian music compilation, there are three tracks from internationals who had heard that The Blues Train was a gig that they had to play when in Australia.
