The Blues Train is a must!

What a night we had for the christmas "do". Jimmy went ORF mate! I had an absolute ball.

Four carriages and four of the best blues acts going around. As a repeat offender of the train (which has been lovingly restored from hand crafted Belgian matches by Hugo T. Armstrong’s grandfather….or so he tells us!), I’ve had a blast each time.

Go as a couple or go as a group of 50 (and have a whole carriage for your group), just go!! What a night, beautiful, historic Queenscliff and a magnificent steam train, how can you go wrong? ... And if you manage to see Jimi Hocking, it’s an added bonus!!

Mark Hyland, 93.9 BayFM, Geelong, and self-confessed Jimi Hocking fan.

HUGO Armstrong loved old trains so much, he went one better, SARAH HUDSON writes. What is it about the allure and romance of steam trains?
