Next appearances on The Blues Train:

Award-winning singer/songwriter, Andrea Robertson, has a knack of fusing the blues, roots, folk and alt-country with a dash of rock, forging her own Americana-style of songwriting for music lovers along the way.

Her unique brand of music echoes with the tones of someone who knows who she is, someone who wishes to share her sound and story with others, someone who creates an endearing experience that is entirely her own.

With a host of awards already under her belt (USA Akademia Music Awards for best Americana Album of January 2019; ASA National Songwriting Contest 4thPlace for original song ‘Again And Again’ Country Category 2018; Queenscliff Music Festival Emerging Artist Grant 2017; Ross Lipson Award 2016) Andrea Robertson is well and truly on her way to establishing herself as an accomplished artist.

Andrea has two independent releases to date – her debut album ‘It’s About Time’ (2014) followed by ‘Remind Myself’ (2017), both of which feature the late Australian Blues Legend, Chris Wilson. Her much-anticipated third album ‘Live At New Hall’ is due to be launched locally from the picturesque Bouchon At Bellarine (Bellarine Estate) on May 17 with special guest artist, Sarah Carroll as support followed by a string of gigs around Regional Victoria.

‘Live At New Hall’ was recorded live over two shows before a captive audience in October 2018 in the beautiful arts space known as New Hall, Point Lonsdale, and the end result is 18 new, original songs all bundled into a double CD – a suggestion made to Andrea by the late Australian Blues Legend, Chris Wilson. With this newest album, Andrea has proven live is where her talent really shines – capturing the emotion and connection to family behind her lyrics.

Delivering her trademark sweet-yet-edgy sound influenced by living on the coast, Andrea Robertson Duo will capture audiences from the outset – whether it’s listening to the new album or at one of her live shows.
