Eddy Boyle harmonica player, singer, song writer is a blues man all the way.
A shared love of the blues and friendship brought these four musicians together. Eddy’s harmonica playing reaches another level when combined with the accomplished talents of Dave Birtwell on guitar, Sweet Felicia on base and John Emery on drums.
Since he was 16 Eddy has been singing and playing harmonica with his band or guesting with great musicians. Eddy is no stranger to the Blues Train having performed there many times as a duo with Tom Richardson and guesting with Sweet Felicia and the Honey Tones.
Eddy’s Blues on the Boyle has Sweet Felicia on bass. Felicia’s bass and vocal skills enabled her to compete in the Memphis International Blues Challenge and to play extensively in Europe.
Dave Birtwell’s guitar playing is in a blues vain that is an ideal fit for a harmonica driven band.
Experienced blues and jazz drummer John Emery holds the groove down.
Eddy’s harmonica playing combined with Felicia, Dave and John give his original songs a authentic vibrant blues sound. This sound could easily be mistaken for a song you would hear from a radio in the 40s or 50s.
Blues on the Boyle lead by Eddy’s jumping harmonica will treat you to some quality swinging blues.
