As far as young Grass Roots musicians go, few are as dedicated, driven and cheeky as Frank Bell.

Playing guitar from a very young age, Frank developed an interest for Americana music early on and. chose to develop his sound with that being one of his most solid influence.

Frank began his career two years ago honing his skills at open mics, Blues jams and small gigs in and around central Victoria, as well as developing his playing alongside other musicians and mentors such as The Davidson Brothers and Bill Barber, who Frank as acted as right hand man to with booking and organising countless youth Blues and Roots events, such as the Bendigo Blues and Roots Youth Stages.

Since the beginning of his career Frank has hit the ground running, playing at festivals all across Victoria such as Bendigo Blues and Roots Festival, The Bright Rio Rockabilly Festival, The Goanna Run Mildura and many more.

Frank’s talent, drive and rapid development in recent years has caught the eye of many of Australia’s leading Rockabilly and Blues musicians such as The Black Hill Ramblers, Cherry Devine, Frank McAvoy of The Flying Saucermen The Davidson Brothers and Bill Barber.

Although he has a certain gravitation towards Blues and Rockabilly, Frank’s passion for grass roots music is not confined by genre, his unique playing style also encompasses Bluegrass, Country, Folk, Rock and Funk.

2016 promises to be an even bigger year for Frank with the recording of his first single, first tour and a much higher pompadour. Frank Bell is definitely one to watch in the years to come
