With a heavy heart, due to the escalating situation of the COVID-19 Delta virus variant in Victoria, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our 2021 Shows, including all October, November and December shows.

The Blues Train has always prided itself on putting the health & safety of its guests, staff, contractors, railway volunteers, and musicians first and foremost. In addition, a lack of Government ongoing support for event-based businesses means that insurance is unavailable to cover the costs of last-minute cancellations. With this in mind, we’ve decided that it’s impossible for us to run any of our 2021 shows.

Words cannot describe the devastation that this decision has caused us.

Hailing from central Victoria, guitarist/singer songwriter Bill Barber is at the forefront of a new generation of Australian Blues. Bill took an interest in Blues at a young age and by 14 was making the rounds, performing in Melbourne venues alongside Australia's most respected Blues artists.

Blues, Rock Legend Phil Para is one of Melbourne’s hardest working and best-known musicians playing sold out shows every week. Phil’s powerful presence, passionate renditions and guitar showmanship make for a thrilling performance that mesmerises his audiences and keep them and coming back time and again.

Rod Paine & The Fulltime Lovers

One of the most powerful and soulful voices in the roots scene, Rod Paine was one of the founding members of Melbourne's legendary Chicago blues acts, Howlin' Time, formed in 1989. In 1995 Rod formed the re-knowned 50s inspired retro blues outfit, The Redliners.
