Born in Melbourne Andy’s inspiration begun with many of the 60’s pioneers such as Jimi Hendrix. It was the ability to express through improvisation that began a lifelong love of music. Drawing on a myriad of life experiences Andy’s unique style of blues rhythm’s in combination with soulful vocals and harmonica takes the music on a journey beyond traditional 12 bar blues formats. No two songs sound the same, with unexpected musical surprises around every corner.
Known throughout Australia as a talented songwriter, Andy’s unique chameleon style is firmly rooted in the blues, but also tests convention by adding small touches of rock, funk, soul & reggae. Having released two professional C/D’s “Change My Hat” 2014 & “Mad Time” 2015, both won acclaim with radio presenters throughout Australia and overseas. “Mad Time” achieved #3 in the September Australian Blues and roots charts.
