Greg Dodd & the Hoodoo Men play predominately Chicago-style Blues. Their performances are a mixture of up-tempo swings, shuffles and boogies. Throw in some slow blues with fiery guitar licks and dynamic harmonica riffs delivered with intensity straight from the heart amd you’re in for an evening of Blues as it should be played.

The band plays original tunes penned by both Greg Dodd & Dan Dinnen, as well a superbly covered blues. Thier music is heavily influenced by the early recordings made in Chicago on the Chess and Delmark labels. The Willie Dixon songbook is also a very big influence, as Willie was a master song writer and wrote many big hits for artists such as Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, Buddy Guy, Little Walter, Koko Taylor and more.

The members of the band have all played together in various line-ups before, so the chemistry within the band is obvious from the get go.
