Bruce Hurricane Hearn (from the iconic Melbourne alternative band Strange Tenants with a back catalogue of 7 albums) is a seasoned top professional musician, having toured and performed with international acts including U2, Paul Weller’s Style Council, UB40 and in London with Jimmy Cliff. He has performed in Barcelona with blues legend Lazy Lester and most recently with Canned Heat.
Hurricane Hearn performs original blues. As Bruce says unashamedly, “it’s all about unbridled passion and raw emotion…from the heart and to your groin”!
Bruce Hurricane Hearn is a master songwriter, singer and harmonica player. His songs are powerful, emotive and honest, and are delivered full throttle by his authentic industrial urban blues band of master musicians.
Their debut album ‘Take it easy but take it’ (thru Black Market Music) is currently storming up the blues charts, and has seen them nominated as a finalist for 3 awards including for Best Blues Album and Best Blues Act in the 2017 Chain Australian Blues Music Awards.
