Cameron Holmes & The Blues Dudes is a five-piece original blues outfit led by singer-songwriter-guitarist Cameron Holmes, accompanied by the talent of drummer Cale Burke, Bassist Sam Kent, Horns Sammy El Mariachi and harmonica player John Hunter.

CAMERON HOLMES began to his musical at age 7 with the flute, trombone, tuba and finally the guitar creating high school bands and later blues, funk and jazz band Dangerous Innersense releasing and EP “Dancing in Broken Glass”, an LP “No Messages from Leo”. After the band parted ways Cameron formed  Lo-Lite which played many of Melbourne’s venues and released a self-titled EP “Lo-Lite”, an EP “Space Freak”, the  single “Sumo” after which the band was renamed One Bad Day. When the band went into hiatus Cameron began writing more moody solo material true to his classical roots utilising lap steel guitar with a less traditional sound A partnership with “Nicko” and six months rehearsal saw the release of a three track single “Opus in D“ and the outfit became known as Present Day Theory.
