Jarrod was born and raised in country Victoria, down the dirt roads of the Macedon Ranges. He taught himself to play guitar listening to the renowned blues greats, as well as the icons of the Australian and local Melbourne blues scene.
He blends his unique guitar approach lying somewhere between piedmont fingerstyle and the blues of the delta, with wailing blues harp and a powerful voice often described as belying his years.
