Born from the necessity to continue working and playing music during the Covid lockdown, Phil and his multi-instrumentalist son, Denzil began streaming duo gigs from home a couple of times a week. It was an enormously successful venture and the audience enjoyed it so much that they promised to continue playing together once live entertainment was once again possible. Phil and Denzil have gone from strength to strength with the duo.
The vocal play and harmonies between the two of them is sublime and this Father and Son duo have no shortage of musical talent swapping instruments as easily as they swap repartee. From the deepest blues to some surprising & soulful tunes Phil & Denzil entertain with both originals and covers.
